Thanks to my flickr friends, I believe these flowers are Tiger Lilies who have escaped into the wild. We found these in a Wildlife Management Area along the Lower Wisconsin River. Whether naturalized in our corner of Wisconsin or simply spread from a near-by garden, Tiger Lilies like these are not a native flower. Although, they are still beautiful.
When I sat down at the computer tonight, I felt more like creating an art project, similar to this
one. However, after opening this photograph and loving the bokeh, I couldn't cover all of that up with additional textures and colors. That would have just been wrong.
