Milwaukee, June 2011

For our anniversary, we spent the weekend in Milwaukee. I have piles of photos, as we went walking through the city. I'll be working on post-processing as I get time, mixed in with more garden, food, and Project 52 photographs.

We checked into the Ambassador mid-Friday afternoon. We had some time to kill before dinner and drinks at the Envoy Lounge. So, we took our first walk.
50mm prime lens, just a touch of sharpening .
This is the Grand Avenue Congregational Church, on Wisconsin Avenue. It is now home to the Irish Cultural Heritage Center.

Further down the block was the Pabst Mansion. I found this outside on the sidewalk. I loved the look of it.
My new 50mm prime lens, Nikon D40. Pioneer Woman's Colorized action for a more vintage look.
