Milwaukee, Food and Drink

How about a little tour of our Milwaukee weekend through food photography. I didn't whip out the camera for everything, but this is a yummy set of photos...

I have decided to not include the quick Cousin's sub we had for lunch, as we began our walking tour of downtown Saturday afternoon.

When it was time for a break, we were close to several Irish pubs, including Trinity Three Irish Pubs, where we had an afternoon pick-me-up. In the foreground, my 7 & 7, behind that, Jason's gin & tonic.

They were yummy!!
After more of our walking tour, we were near the Historic Third Ward. While touring the Milwaukee Public Market, we decided it was time for supper. So we wander the Market again, trying to decide what to eat, brats, deli sandwiches, Greek... then on the second time by the far end, we sat down at the St. Paul Fish Company. Jason had the Lake Perch, and I ordered a Shrimp Po' Boy.

Oh my goodness, they were the best things we ate all weekend! Followed by the other best of the weekend, individual tiramisu cups from C. Adam's Bakery, which we took outside to eat.

The next day, after checking out of the hotel, we returned to the Market for lunch. Free parking on Sundays! We went to the West Allis Cheese and Sausage Shoppe for a couple of deli sandwiches.

Jason had ham and salami, with provolone, mayo, lettuce, red onion, and tomato, grilled. "Straight up awesome" were his words.

Mine was a menu item, roast beef with horseradish cheddar, which I had grilled. So good.

That's the end of our food journey through Milwaukee.

Next time we go, this is a must:
