This drought has ended my season of garden flower photography, I cut most plants in the back bed to the ground the other day.
The before shot is SOOC, with just the normal tweaking while importing the RAW into PSE. The after image is where I stopped while playing with texture files.

Toffee (warm), soft light at 65%
Rusted Rainbow (cool), soft light at 60%
