More Roses

Another photograph of my Valentine's Day roses. I am so ready for green grass and some color in the world.

I think I find this transition time from winter to spring the most difficult, especially in warmer winter such as this year's season. Fresh snow is exhilarating and pretty. Then it melts, and we are left with grays, browns, and yucky greens... with an ache for the freshness of spring. I did see a robin the other day, spring can't be to far away.
