We are expecting up to 6 inches of snow tonight through tomorrow, after having a stretch of weather running 20 degrees or so above normal. Today we had highs in the low and mid-50s.
I felt inspired to get a few more images processed from our last snowfall, which fell a few days before Christmas.
When I turned down the River Road, someone had beat me to it, and laid down a wonderful set of figure eight tracks.
This was my first image I processed in Lightroom, using the new Lightroom 4 Public Beta.
I felt a little guilty driving over them, but I wanted to get to the river. I turned the corner and before me was a roadway of perfectly unmarked snow. It was awesome to be the first person there that morning.
