A Late Autumn Walk

This was a few weeks ago, but I had an afternoon to go for a walk. I headed to the western trail head for the Walking Iron Park, a Dane County park. I hadn't been through there before, and I will be heading back through the seasons. (I should learn how to snowshoe!)

When parking at the western lot, on Beckman Road, there is a large (mowed?) grassy field to walk through. It took me this long to stop there, because it didn't seem that enticing, until I searched for it and saw just how large the Park actually is.

These photos were all taken during my walk through that field. To the east of this field is where I fell in love with this park, however those photos will be saved for another post.
