The theme for week 3 was macro. Well now, I take plenty of macro photos, but they are of flowers, outside in the gardens. So, finding a subject was tricky.
These china leopards/jaguars belonged to my grandmother, she had a very large collection of bells and china figurines.
I don't know anything about these cats, they have a "Japan" sticker on the bottom. Also in pencil on the bottom of a paw on each is a "49." Price or year, I don't know.
Taken with window light, no flash. I used my +4 magnifier on my kit lens.
